I found that odd since improved DeepPRIME output quality was not part of the beta testing and was not mentioned as being included in PL5 by DXO when it was released. On the internet I could only find statements about general quality of DeepPRIME but no one wrote DeepPRIME in PL5 is better as in PL4. Some people on Macs are processing large raw images using DeepRIME in a little over 4 seconds! On my older middle of the road i7 Windows 10 computer with a much less powerful nVidia GTX 1050 ti graphics card, I am able to process raw images using PL 5's DeepRIME in around 20-22 seconds. On a Mac, depending on the graphics card and the use of the neural network, PhotoLab 5 will process DeepPRIME as much as 4 times faster than PhotoLab 4 did using the same configuration. On Windows, DeepPRIME processing times have improved by as much as 1.5 times depending on the card and hardware.

In addition PL 5's DeepPRIME processing takes advantage of the Mac M1 chip Apple Neural Engine to speed up DeepPRIME processing time very significantly. The significant bump in DeepPRIME processing speed is evident with the newer GPU's like the Nvidia RTX series. Some other users are reporting significant speed bump with Photolab 5. On the other hand I can’t comment about Deep PRIME processing time because I rum my old comp on integrated Intel graphic card. If you are using Photolab just for noise reduction I can confirm there is no difference in image quality between DeepPRIME in Photolab 4 and 5 ….
The closest you can get to DeepPRIME at the moment is Topaz DeNoise but it’s not as good.

Well I would say … try to clean those ISO 12,800 and up with Lightroom or C1 Pro and I would like to see the results. The image colors in them were faded and distorted. Up to ISO 51,200, the images were probably usable, but the last two were not.
(I simulated the last three by setting my 80D to one, two, and three stops underexposure at ISO 25,600 and adjusting the exposure in DXO.) The resulting images from the two DXO versions were virtually identical I could not tell the difference. I saw no improvement in DXO Deep Prime version 5, either in image quality or processing time when compared to DXO v4.3.3.
